Biography
M A Yehiyan , graduated from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2004 (MBBS)and worked through my surgical career since my F3 year. I completed my MRCS in 2015 and FRCS in General Surgery in 2022. I worked in Oman for five years as a surgical SHO and registrar from 2012 to 2017. Then moved to the UK in 2017. I also successfully completed master’s degree in general surgery (ChM) from University of Edinburgh with Distinction in 2020. I have developed a parallel interest regarding post operative pain especially in laparotomies. As a first attempt I looked into a very basic intra operative approach for post operative pain relief such as Rectus Sheath Catheters. I am very keen to take this study to further higher level.
