Biography
Dr Angelica Armellini is currently working as a Critical Care and Surgical resident at the Austin Hospital, Melbourne, Australia. Prior to her Doctor of Medicine, she has completed a Bachelor of Science with Honors at the University of Melbourne. Dr Armellini has worked with the Austin Health department of Anesthesia, to produce a body of research focusing on the relationship between perioperative fluid type and amount, with the incidence of acute kidney injury in patients undergoing major surgery. This work has resulted in multiple publications in Journals of Anesthesia. Dr Armellini is planning to continue her career in research whilst completing her specialization in Anesthesia.
